On March 14, 2024, the Kentau Transformer Plant was visited by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Olzhas Bektenev. His visit underscores the strategic importance of our facility within the broader context of Kazakhstan's industrial and energy sectors. The Prime Minister evaluated the current efforts to expand production capacities and modernize the enterprise.
Located in the heart of Kentau, our transformer plant stands as a beacon of industrial innovation in the Turkestan region. During the visit, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alageum Electric Group of Companies, Yerkebulan Ilyasov, informed Olzhas Bektenev about the steps being taken to develop the enterprise and increase its production capabilities.
The Kentau Transformer Plant specializes in the manufacturing of general-purpose power transformers and transformers for electrified rail transport, as well as transformer substations. Our commitment to quality and innovation is evident in our annual efforts to deepen localization, with the current local content exceeding 75%.
